As is usual for this time of year there will be supply pressures on Turkey and Turkey Crowns and our supplier is asking us to place as many orders as possible by 1st December.
After this date supplies will be still available but there is likely to be some restrictions on popular sizes etc. So if you can be organised by then please place your order. After this date we will still be happy to take orders but we will be unable to guarantee the popular sizes we usually supply.

Poultry roasting should be done with care and in suffcient time to allow for resting after removal from the oven.
For all poultry roasting PRE-HEAT the oven to the required temperature. Always remove all meat from the fridge at least 30 mins before cooking.
Whole Turkey: cover in foil to start, gas 5 /190 degree or 170 degrees fan, a good guide time is 20 mins per kg or 10 mins per lb, then add an hour. Always use a meat thermometer if you have one a core temperature of 70 degrees in the thickest part of the meat is what you are looking for. Any juices coming out of the meat should be clear with no sign of blood.
